It was amazing getting to be a part of my sister’s wedding. She loves light colors and timeless beauty, so we took advantage of the spring blooms in season. Since it was winter, my sister decided to have her bridals in Jessica Peterson‘s studio. It’s a great classic space but we wanted to bring in some other elements with greenery and candles. We kept it simple, and Ciara Richardson did a wonderful job as usual with the photos.
My mom made her beautiful dress! It’s incredible, and the silhouette was perfect for my sister.
I’ve never seen my sister happier than she is with Nick. They compliment each other so perfectly, and I’m so excited to see them share their lives together.
This was a fun little shoot to collaborate on. D’Arcy was in charge and wanted to do a shoot on men’s fashion so she asked me to make a few boutonnieres to go with the different looks. The boutonniere tutorial portion of this shoot was featured on Once Wed a few weeks ago. I decided to make a simple and sweet posey bouquet for this shoot, and I liked the dainty size. Janie from the Bride’s Cafe emailed me and asked if I’d be interested in doing a little interview over on the Bride’s Cafe! I was so excited to contribute! I’m completely flattered to be featured on a blog with so many floral designers I admire so much. Thanks so much Janie! You can see the post here!
